How injectables work.
Xeomin® and BOTOX® work by temporarily relaxing targeted muscles under the skin. When the muscle movement slows, the overlying skin appears smoother, with fewer visible lines. Results start to appear within 3–4 days and reach full effect in 10–14 days.

Dr Yu Ishikawa (aka Ishi) trained as a General Dentist at Otago University and graduated in 2012. Since then, he has worked in the public sector in a hospital and in Private Practice. For the last five years, Dr Ishikawa has provided expert dental care to the Central Otago community as the owner of Tarbert Street Dental Clinic and is now thrilled to offer Xeomin® as well.
It initially caught his interest as a great treatment option for dental issues such as bruxism (teeth grinding) which has been shown to be an incredibly successful management option. Dr Yu's dental background is beneficial as he has great understanding of head and neck anatomy, which makes him an excellent practitioner for forehead, frown lines and crows feet treatments.
